As any parent knows, having things to keep the kiddos engaged during the summer is a life saver! This is an amazing activity to break out! It is creative with great quality components! Plus it can be used to teach things like the life cycle of plants, seeds, chlorophyll etc. Really love this kit!
My kids had such a great time planting the seeds and painting the planter! It comes with everything you need, paint, brushes, seeds, dirt etc. They are now excited to watch their plants grow. This is a great activity for kids.
This is a nice little art kit and if used with some plant growing lessons makes for a good learning activity as well. It comes with almost everything that you need, two discs of expanding earth, 3 packets of seeds, and make your own labels to identify where you planted each species of flowers. While you are waiting for the water to rehydrate the substrate start painting the metal outer shell of the planter. I would then fill the plastic insert with substrate and place in outer shell. Note: I would find some sort of drain pan to sit the planter on because it will leak from the holes in the bottom. We enjoy checking every several days to see if seeds have started to grow and also go over the different phases of life of the flowers. A lot of fun and can be reused as long as it remains fun.
This is a great kit that contains everything your little gardener will need. The little soil pods expand wonderfully and fill the whole planter. My daughter had a great time reading the instructions, painting the planter, and planting the seeds. We made her do this on the front porch to avoid a mess inside, but everything cleaned up easily. The paint did not leave any stains behind. She then diligently watered her planter and was super excited when the seeds turned into green stalks. She followed all provided instructions and has the planter in the window sill. My daughter has gotten a lot of joy out of this kit.
This is a great set for kids. Comes with everything you need and following the soaking and planting instructions will get you sprouts asap for kids to enjoy. The paint doesn't stick well on the tin so it is a little frustrating for little ones. They will need help
