Entertain Your Kids And Support Their Early Development!
Working alone or with his friends, your toddler uses colorful tissue paper, crinkle paper or fringed paper and decorates it with buttons, pom-poms, and stickers to create unique creatures. In this way, he develops his sensory and fine motor skills, problem-solving, cognitive development, self-confidence - and even early math skills like recognizing shapes, sizes, and patterns.
Really nice game I played with my kids during spring break. It was useful to have not messy alternatives to the screen time during cold and rainy days during spring break this year. My kids rounds from 3-8 years, the little ones needed assistance, but we all have a good time.
We got a kit very similar to this a few months ago and our two granddaughters absolutely loved it. So I jumped on the opportunity to get this kit as well. The premise is pretty simple... make goofy faces or creatures by attaching stuff to paper plates. Our granddaughters are 3 and 6 and this is perfect for them. The older one helps the younger one create designs and follow instructions. Both of them are very interested in creative and crafty activities. They go through art supplies very fast, so this is a nice kit to have on hand even after the plates are used up. There are tons of different stickers and pieces to use later. They each followed the instructions for one creature and then just used their imagination to create some pretty crazy-looking things. At some point they got bored with the paper plates and just started making shapes with pipe cleaners. The designs and pieces are really fun for kids and help spark their imagination. We really like creative time with the granddaughters. And this kit is the perfect way to keep them creatively entertained for hours. So much better than screen time. When done, they have a work of art to put on the wall and tell stories about. Tons of pieces at a reasonable cost, though I wish it came with a few more of the brightly colored plates.
Creative Kids makes an all inclusive plate craft. This particular set comes with eight different color plates, buttons, large pom poms, stickers, pipe cleaners, tissue paper, craft sticks, fringe paper and glue dots. I prefer to use my own squeeze glue.I have plates and crafts in my occupational therapy room, however, with Creative Kids each creature comes separately packaged. The instruction booklet makes it simple to get the materials you need. The six visual steps involved in completing your creature project are easy to follow. Some of the projects are more difficult than others. Since it is Spring, I appreciate the fact that five out of the eight are bugs. My students learn/write about the salient features of each.Plate crafts are an excellent visual motor activity, as you are following multiple step directions in sequential order. It also works for eye-hand coordination and problem solving. Highly recommended and worth the money.
Paper plate kits are one of my daughter's favorite things. This comes with 8 paper plates and lots of fun accessories to make a cute unicorn, bug or character. It includes dot glue but we also used glue we had around here if they wanted to really get the pipe cleaners sticking onto the plate. Both of my daughter's spent time creating their plates and enjoyed every minute of it. No need for parental involvement as they used their creativity to the fullest. Fun project, wonderful to have on hand to keep them busy.
This paper craft kit is a lot of fun. We really like craft kits. I would much prefer them doing something than watching something. It is nice because they can spend the time doing it and then they have something special to keep. They are excited when they make something themselves. This is a great activity for a rainy day or a day when your child is sick or when you are just stuck at home. It is a good way to keep a child busy.I thought it was age appropriate. It wasnt too hard. The children really liked how it turned out.I feel like this is good for child development. It kept my children's interest. It would also make a nice gift.I would recommend it.
