General Product Information

Q: Are your products washable?*

A: Any washable Creative Kids products clearly state "washable" on the product packaging.

Note: Products are only washable on clothing items that can be laundered. We do not recommend using Creative Kids products on non-launderable items or on porous surfaces.

Q: I have your Creative Kids modeling clay. Can this item be baked? Will it dry out?

A: Creative Kids Modeling Clay should not be baked.

It will dry out eventually once it has been removed from its original packaging.

Q: How long do your products last? Are they safe to use after being stored for a long time?

A: Perishable items (markers, dough, paint, etc.) generally have a shelf life of up to 2 years and a useful life of up to one year once the packaging has been opened.

Non-perishable items such as crayons & colored pencils do not generally go bad, but may lose some of their function over time and may become discolored.

Q: Do you make any products for toddlers?

A: Creative Kids does not currently manufacture any products for children age 1-3.

All of our products are tested to an appropriate age range of 3+ or higher.

Q: My craft paints have dried out. Can I add water to them?

A: Unfortunately, No.

Adding water to dry paints will not make them usable.

Q: If I am missing the instruction sheet for a product, where can I get a replacement?

A: Instruction Sheets can be found in our Customer service section under the "Missing Manual" tat

Note: Not all product instructions are kept on file. If your product is more than several years old, we may not be able to provide instructions.

Q: Do you have a recycling program for empty markers?

A: We currently do not have a proprietary recycling program.

However, plastic products are generally accepted by most community recycling programs.


Product Safety & Ingredients

Q: Are your products non-toxic?

A: Yes. The formulas for all Creative Kids art materials are reviewed by a Board Certified toxicologist at a CPSC approved third party lab for both short and long term toxicological hazards.

This process helps ensure that the production items are non-toxic.

Packaging for these products contains the statement "Conforms to ASTM D4236."

Q: Do any of your products contain gluten?

A: Yes. Our Creative Kids Kiddy Dough contains gluten.

Other Creative Kids products are not designated gluten-free or made in gluten-free environments and there is a possibility that cross-contamination may occur.

Q: Where can I find an ingredients list for one of your products?

A: Creative Kids does not offer detailed ingredient listings for our products.

Q: Can I purchase products directly from your company and/or through the website?

A: Creative Kids is a wholesaling company offering wholesale pricing only.

A minimum purchase of $25,000 qualifies for wholesale pricing.

Note: All products must be purchased in case lot quantities.

We do not currently offer products for sale directly through our brand websites and apologize for the inconvenience.

Q: If I can't find a particular product on your website or at my local store, how can I find out if it's still being produced?

A: Please call us at 800-XXX-XXXX and have the product or item number available.

Q: I want to carry/sell your products. How do I become a retailer?

A: To Distribute Creative Kids products, please fill out the necessary Distribution/sales form.

Q: Can I purchase crayons, markers and colored pencils

individually? I only need a single color.

A: All of our products are manufactured for packs or kits and are not available for sale individually.

However, if you are interested in purchasing individual colors, you can request a quote for a custom order - please note that custom manufacturing orders start at $50,000.

A: Please fill out a customer service form, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Q: I am not satisfied with my current purchase. How do I get a refund?

A: Please fill out our customer service form and a customer service representative will get back to you as soon as possible.

Q: I have a Creative Kids product and would like to purchase replacement parts. Where can I buy those?

A: Unfortunately, we do not provide separate replacement parts for purchase.

A: No

Q: Do you have any product or company merchandise (t-shirts, hats, stickers) available?

A: Creative Kids does not manufacture any promotional merchandise at this time.


Inventor Relations

Q: How do I submit a product idea or invention for consideration?

A: Creative Kids does not accept unsolicited ideas from the general public.

We do, however, have a process for receiving and reviewing inventions from outside companies.

If you would like to submit an idea for consideration, you will need to submit a form using our business/media section under the customer service section, and introduce your company and your idea.

Inventor Relations will then contact you to complete and sign a Nondisclosure and Confidentiality Agreement.

Once this step has been completed, you will be contacted to move the process along further.
